What is Green Financing?

Green finance comprises the financing of private and public green investments in the areas of environmental goods and services with the minimization, prevention, and legislation to limit the damages to the
environment. Another key component is the complete financing of public policies that spur the implementation of environmental initiatives that integrates into components of the financial system that deal specifically with green investments, such as the Green Climate Fund or financial instruments for green investments (e.g. green bonds and structured green funds), including their specific economic and legal framework.
